michelle-obama-garden-kids_425.jpgSchool gardens offer benefits to you and your students that go beyond the classroom. School gardens provide the opportunity for students to learn the importance of interpersonal social skills when interacting with teachers, and members of the community. This interaction can teach students how to work cooperatively with their peers and elders. School gardens provide an opportunity for hands on learning while meeting the curriculum standards.

Promoting a Healthy Generation through using the environment as the classroom!
